Andrew Garfield & his Girlfriend Alyssa Miller has Reportedly Split Up

Andrew Garfield is back in the market. The Hacksaw Ridge star and his girlfriend, model/musician Alyssa Miller, have reportedly broken up. The attractive couple had made their red carpet debut at the 2022 SAG Awards together on Feb. 27. Garfield, 38, Miller, 32, first sparked dating rumors back in the fall. The alleged lovers were spotted on many dates until they made their romance public at SAG Awards.  

As per insiders, the duo's relationship has ended due to their tight work schedules, and it seems the budding stars have chosen their work before love. "They were together for quite some time before they went public," an insider revealed, adding, but work schedules mean it has been tough to see each other. Another adds, "On top of that, it became clear that there were some differences between them, and it was decided they are better off apart, for now at least."

The Golden-Globe-winning actor is distinctively known for keeping a low dating profile. In a recent interview with Bustle, Andrew defended his right and reputation for keeping his personal life out of the spotlight. "For my work, I'm fine with it, but otherwise, I fight for my right to a private, personal life," Garfield shared; he continues, "My right to be a mess. My right to be sorrowful. My right to lose, to get it wrong, to be stupid, to be a person."

Garfield, whose last release was Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tick, Tick... Boom!, and The Eyes of Tammy Faye, is looking forward to a hectic year. He will next star in Under the Banner of Heaven and play pianist James Rhodes in the biopic Instrumental. "He is keeping his chin up and taking some time for himself after a hectic few months," a source shares.

Miller is a successful model and is popularly known for dating Jake Gyllenhaal. The couple dated for a good six months before separating in 2014, and even then, work had come in between their budding romance. "Things were really good between Jake and Alyssa right up until he had to leave for L.A. to shoot a movie [Nightcrawler] in the fall," a source said.  

Despite keeping a low-key personal life, Garfield's romantic ventures have always made it to the headlines. The Academy-Award nominated star is famously known for dating his Spider-Man co-star Emma Stone, Susie Abromeit, singer Rita Ora, and Irish actress Aisling Bea.
