However, doctors now suggest it's time we get rid of slamming the snooze button multiple times just to get a few extra minutes of sleep. A recent study says that doing so will only result in having an uninterrupted sleep that can't be considered to be called a well rest.
As a matter of fact, sleeping regularly for five hours straight is better than waking up multiple times during an eight-hour long sleep, because returning to sleep quickly after hitting the snooze button will prevent you from getting quality sleep.

Interrupted sleep won't just make you suffer the aftermath of low-quality rest, but in results, they can make you feel hungover throughout the day. According to neurologists, since the process of waking up can sometimes take as long as an hour, it can affect the functioning of the brain.
