'Baldwin Hills' Sensation Gerren Taylor Dies At The Age Of 30

Gerren Taylor of 'Baldwin Hills' has passed away at 30: full story Here!  

Ashley Gerren Taylor, professionally known as Gerran Taylor has passed away early this Sunday. A model and reality tv star, she was mostly known for starring in the American reality television series 'Baldwin Hills' from July 2007 to March 2009, which aired in BET.

Taylor reportedly died in her sleep but the cause of her ill-timed death isn't revealed yet. The model reportedly battled with lupus and was in dialysis but it is not concluded if the disease was what took her life.

Taylor's family are yet to give any public statements, it was actually one of the BET's alums who broke the news upon hearing it. Ray Cunningham, an alum of the BET channel took to his Instagram to mourn Taylor's death.

Posting an old picture and video of him and Taylor, He wrote  "Just got the worst news ever and I'm still not processing it fully," he wrote; "The #BaldwinHills cast was like the little sisters and brothers to #CollegeHill.  I love u. You will be missed. BET fam  Rest well love.” 

BET soon released a statement to EW, "The untimely passing of such a young, bright light is difficult to process. BET's thoughts and prayers go out to Ashley's friends and family during this time."

Tributes soon poured in for the late star. Her former colleagues and friends remembered her, by sharing little anecdotes on the late star and posting her picture. Former NBA player MarquesJohnson, Olympian Carol Rodriguez, model Nia Riley were a few of the many who paid their tribute on social media.  

The Cause of Taylor's death isn't revealed yet but she reportedly died in her sleep early this Sunday.

Gerren Taylor was signed to Ford Modeling agency and was a single mother to 7 years old daughter before her demise. She had so much potential in her and was yet to unravel her life fully, her sudden death has left things half-done for the star and her family, said a close source.
