Becky Hill is officially engaged; the English singer revealed the bombshell news on Tuesday with some sweet snaps with now-fiance Charlie Pops. Flashing her stunning sapphire ring, the top-charting singer is kissing Pops on the beach in the first picture; a slew of PDAs-filled snaps follows the first. The Gecko hitmaker captions, "turns out he actually does like me."  

The singer and Charlie, who reportedly works in the event industry, have been dating for six years now, but their engagement news has been nothing short of a surprise. Many stars took to Becky's comment sections to express their shock and wishes for the two. Rylan Clark comments, "OHHHHHHH MYYYYYY GOOOODDDDD YESSSSS." Max George, Laura Whitmore, and more join Clark in extending their toast. Zoe Mansfield takes to her Instagram story to congratulate the newly engaged.

Pops, who has remained out of the spotlight despite Becky's imposing fame, is unavailable on social media, but that seemingly didn't stop Charlie from planning the sweetest proposal imaginable. The lovebirds were enjoying a romantic holiday in the Maldives, where Charlie reportedly got down on his knees and popped the most-awaited question.

Becky, a native of Bewdley, rose to fame being the finalist of the fifth series of The Voice UK, where she joined Jessie J's team. The singer-songwriter came out as queer in early 2021. "queer seems to be the most fitting identity for who I am," Hill tweeted. The two Brit-awards-winning singer revealed she finds traveling abroad hard due to people's "archaic attitude towards her queerness."

"I recently went to Poland, and I was asked about being queer in an interview and what it meant considering I had a boyfriend who was in a heterosexual relationship," Becky said. She adds, "I answered it very honestly - as I would always answer any question I get asked." In her past interviews, the singer advises women to own their queerness.
