A pre-pandemic world and the old normalcy may be a far-fetched dream right now, but the global small steps every day towards attaining it is undeniable nonetheless. In major progress, the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Thursday, eased the mask-wearing protocol for people who are fully vaccinated.
CDC's director Dr. Rochelle Walensky, during a media briefing, said, "We have all longed for this moment when we can get back to some sense of normalcy." Dr. Walensky further added, "that moment has come for those who are fully vaccinated."

CDC had informed last year that a person is considered fully vaccinated only after two weeks of his final dose, which gives the immune system sufficient time to build antibodies against the virus. Hailing this great move, former director of CDC, Dr. Richard Besser, commented, "Today marks a true turning point in the pandemic, If you're fully vaccinated, you are good to go. That's huge."
