Conor McGregor's Irish Whiskey Brand Proper No. Twelve Sells For $600M.

The former two-division UFC belt holder has added to his already enormous fortune.

Conor McGregor has sold his whiskey brand named Proper No. Twelve to Proximo Spirits for a whopping $600 million. This means that the former UFC featherweight champion is no longer the majority owner of his brand though he will remain a stakeholder.

Before the deal, the American beverage manufacturer owned 49% of the mixed martial artist's brand and now holds the majority share.

After the accomplishment, as per his website The Mac Life, 

McGregor said:  

"Proper Twelve is my baby for life! I'm only warming up the barrels here! What I have in store for you all will not only take Proper Twelve to the absolute pinnacle of Irish Whiskey, but all spirits!"

Proper No. Twelve was founded in 2018 by McGregor alongside his partner Audie Attar and Ken Austin. Since its debut in the market, the notorious promoted his brand everywhere possible, from UFC promotion events to talk show hosts to social media. And so far, it looks like it has been working like a charm.

In addition to it, the Irish fighter expressed his happiness and excitement on his new accomplishment and posted a picture with Proper No. Twelve on his Instagram.  

The 32-year-old wrote:  

"Wow!! In just under 3 years, we went from a dream to the biggest Irish Whiskey in the world!  A HUGE step for Proper No. Twelve today as we now forge ahead to the next phase of our company's history! Thanks to my Irish Whiskey fans all across the globe! Proper Twelve is my life, baby, and I am just warming up the barrels here! What I have in store for you all will not only take Proper Twelve to the absolute pinnacle of Irish Whiskey! But of all spirits!"
