Doctor Who Series 12: The First Trailer is Here as is One of The Doctor's Arch-Nemesis
The trailer of Doctor Who Series 12 is here, an old nemesis is rearing its metal head back in the scene and we love it!
There seems to be some hope for the 21st-century continuation of the 'Doctor Who' series on BBC. After series 11 caused such outrage and widespread hate for lackluster episodes and weird characterization as well as being preachy, it seems the show is going back to the roots of the series and bringing some interesting monsters for series 12 of the beloved show.
When series 11 was announced about a year and a half ago with the caveat of the first female 'Doctor' taking the role of the iconic male-centered character, there was some backlash and a lot of anticipation for the new series. But then the first episode came and went, but failed to impress there was some tension among friends.

It was all downhill from there as one after the other episodes just felt bland with no real villain and passable to downright stupid monsters. The show was not getting good, and there were calls to replace the characters, which was uncalled for because they were working with the weak material they were provided.
BBC made the right decision and did not heed to the calls of the recasting, and Jodie Whittaker was convinced to come back for a second season. She obliged and came back for another trip around the universe with the characters and the TARDIS, and here we are with the release of the first trailer for the series 12 of 'Doctor Who.'

In the trailer the first time we see the Doctor and the gang while they are walking up to the house and when she is asked to introduce herself, she says, “Doctor, The Doctor.” Everyone is wearing a suit and tie, and she gives her name like James Bond, so a fun way to open the trailer.
But then the clip turns to show multiple monsters wreaking havoc and the Doctor and her companion either running or trying to contain the threat. Then, the trailer turns somber around the mid-point when Doctor says, “Something is coming for me. I can feel it.” After she says it, we get our first look at a 'Cyberman' after a long time, the robot is mud-covered and is looking around, and it seems the 'Cybermen' are coming once again for the Doctor.

Also, it seems Bradley Walsh was right, the show is bringing some interesting characters on the screen, and they appear way better than they did in Series 11. There are still some people hating on the series without even seeing how Series 12 turns out, but what can you say about the toxicity surrounding massive project like this.
There is no release date for Doctor Who Series 12 with the trailer ending with “Coming in 2020.” But it could be around the time HBO Max debuts. WarnerMedia and BBC recently struck a deal to get Doctor Who and other BBC shows on the new streaming platform, so expect to stream the whole show on the platform once it is released.
