Atypical first season was more of a 'Sam Gardner' and his mother’s story, and Bridgette’s character, 'Casey Gardner,' was only in the periphery of the show, but it all changed when Netflix renewed the show for a second season.

In the second season, Fivel Stewart’s character, 'Izzie,' was introduced, and her appearance rocked Casey’s life. Casey was in love with the high school football team jock, someone who cared for her, but then Casey started to have second thoughts about her relationship. She was finally coming to terms with her sexuality and was slowly falling in love with Izzie.

The relationship reached its crescendo in the final moments of the final episode of the second season of 'Atypical.' Season three also deals with the fallout of the car incident and how it affects her life along with if the relationship is more like a a girlfriend's relationship or just a simple one and done kiss.

Bridgette and Fivel formed an excellent bond on the show, and then there started rumors or wishful thinking most probably among fans about the possibility of the two dating one another. We’ve got no confirmation when it comes to proving the actress is gay, or they are in a relationship.

The Actress Will Appear Next in 'Bombshell' and the Highly-Anticipated Sequel 'Bill & Ted Face the Music'

'Atypical' was the reason Bridgette got widespread recognition, and their performance opened a lot of doors for the actress. Their newfound fame and talent was the reason why she won the role of 'Julia Clarke' in the upcoming Oscar-bait movie 'Bombshell' based on the true story of the ladies working at Fox News who decided to take on the head of the organization Roger Ailes and talk about sexual assault at the company.

But the biggest role of their career will most probably be in the movie 'Bill & Ted Face the Music,' where Bridgette will be playing the role of 'Billie Logan,' the daughter of 'Theodore “Ted” Logan' played by Keanu Reeves.
