Holly Willoughby was born on 10 February 1981 in Brighton, England, to a sales manager father Brian R. Willoughby and air stewardess mother Linda J. Willoughby. Holly comes from a middle-class family, and she attended Burgess Hill Girls school. She was attracted by the entertainment industry ever since she was a child, and while the future host was at 'The Clothes Show,' a talent scout spotted her.

Soon, Holly was modeling for various brands and appearing in teen magazines and also studying at an Open University. She was working various other jobs to support herself when one of her friends helped her put together a showreel, which resulted in her getting an agent and soon finding network jobs.

Starting out as a Host and This Morning

After she was given her first chance on network TV, Holly soon took her chance and seeing her talent; she was later hired by ITV to co-present 'Dancing on Ice' alongside Phillip Schofield. She kept coming back to the show every year till 2011 when she left her post only to return again in 2018.

This Morning was going through a host change when Fern Britton left the show and seeing her chemistry with Phillip on 'Dancing on Ice,' the higher-ups at ITV decided she was the right person to fill the spot on the show. She started to co-host 'This Morning' with Phillip Schofield, who started on the morning show in 2002.

Soon after her hiring, there was a 20% upswing in ratings, and while attending to her duties on the show, she also acted as the host on multiple other ITV series such as 'The Voice UK,' 'Play to the Whistle,' and 'I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!'

'This Morning' host fell in love with Dan Baldwin, who is a production company owner, and the two quickly got married on 4 August 2007. The two are rarely seen out together, but they share a good bond, which is why the couple’s been together for almost 13 years.

They are not only married to one another though, Holly and Dan are also parents to their three children. Their first son was born on 11 May 2009, and their second bundle of joy arrived on this earth on 14 April 2011, and finally, Holly gave birth to their third kid on 29 September 2014. The happily married couple is the proud parent of two sons and one daughter.

Holly wanted to be a young mother, and considering the husband and wife brought their kids into this world within a five year period, it seems she achieved her desire, and the whole family is happy with how their family is growing.
