Inbar Lavi was born on 27 October 1986 in Ramat Gan, Israel, to a Moroccan-Jewish mother and Polish-Jewish father. She was raised up in Israel, and while growing up, she suffered from asthma, and it was major at one time when she needed to use a nebulizer for almost an hour.

While she was battling with asthma and growing up in her hometown, the one thing she used to pass the time, except studies, was watching movies. She fell in love with movies and especially Natalie Portman and her portrayal in the celebrated film 'Leon: The Professional.' After finishing her initial education, the actress joined Sophie Moskowitz School of Acting in her home country and then moved to New York, where she studied in Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Inbar appeared in the fifth season’s second episode of the show, and while filming the episode, the two met on set. It was only a one-episode appearance, and the two met just while filming, and about two years later, the couple started dating.

Inbar appeared in the hit drama show 'Lucifer' which was revived by Netflix. The show about the king of hell, leaving his kingdom and coming to the surface, opening a bar and living in America, was on Fox for a while. Due to low rating, the show was axed, but Netflix picked it up and made the fourth season with a renewal for a fifth season being the final one coming to Netflix next year.

Inbar was hired to play the role of 'Eve' in the fourth season of the series. Her character was the former lover of 'Lucifer,' and as the name suggests, the character was based on the biblical character of 'Adam' and 'Eve.' The actress appeared in the third episode of the fourth season and in all of the remaining episodes in the series.

The actress also appeared in the series 'Imposters,' where she played the leading character of 'Maddie' in 20 episodes. She also appeared in the revival Prison Break series and also in the Vin Diesel fantasy movie 'The Last Witch Hunter.'
