Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Welcomed Second Baby

Sophie Turner, 26, and her husband, Joe Jonas, 32, are over the moon with the birth of their secondborn, a girl. "Joe and Sophie are happy to announce the arrival of their baby girl," the couple's rep told People. The Game of Thrones actress and the Jonas Brothers singer had their first baby, daughter Willa, in July 2020. Turner announced her second pregnancy earlier this year in May.  

"It's what life is about for me – raising the next generation," Turner shares. The Emmy-winning actress adds, "The greatest thing in life is seeing my daughter go from strength to strength. We're so excited to be expanding the family. It's the best blessing ever." The Please Be Mine hitmaker shared his feelings about diving into fatherhood for the second time. Jonas says he is less nervous this time and a lot more excited.

"It's been amazing to be a dad and to learn every day more about myself and what that's like. [We're] living in a new city, and it's a very exciting time. I'm very much looking forward to the future on all things," the Jonas Brothers star shared. Turner and Joe started dating in 2016 and got engaged in September 2017. The glamorous couple tied the knots in an impromptu wedding on June 29, 2019, hours after the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.

The pair's surprise wedding was officiated by an Elvis impersonator and live-streamed on Turner's friend, Diplo's Instagram. "We went around inviting random people we'd met at the awards and were like, 'You can come, you can come. It was so wild. So fun. So awesome," the Another Me actress says while reminiscing about her wedding. The couple has been tight-lipped about their family since the start, and as a result, fans haven't had much insight into Turner's venture into motherhood.

"The couple is already obsessed and can't stop gloating about their new addition," an insider had said after the Game of Thrones actress welcomed her firstborn in July 2020. The source added, "The couple is taking time to enjoy this special moment and have only shared the news and updates with family and friends."

Before Jonas, Turner was in a low-profile relationship with The Vamp's guitarist James McVay. The actress has also been linked with her Barely Lethal co-star Thomas Mann and Tye Sheridan. Joe's dating history includes publicized romances with Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, and Gigi Hadid. Turner and Joe's second baby arrives over five months after Joe's brother, Nick Jonas and his wife, Priyanka Chopra, welcomed their daughter Malti Marie Jonas via surrogate.
