Josh Duhamel Marries Audra Mari in North Dakota

'Transformers' star Josh Duhamel marries for the second time: Complete story here!  

Actor Josh Duhamel, 49, and former beauty queen Audra Mari, 28, are officially married. A series of leaked snippets reveal the twosome's intimate wedding in Fargo, North Dakota, Mari's hometown. The newly wedded looked smitten in love as they loaded into a vintage red Cadillac convertible after saying their "I do's." Onlookers report the couple got married at Olivet Lutheran Church.  

The pair's hush-hush wedding comes almost nine months after the Transformer actor popped the question to Mari in the sweetest way imaginable; the 49-year-old actor sneaked the question in a bottle and led the former Miss America to discover the surprise. "It's on," captioned the Safe Haven actor while sharing a snap of their beautiful proposal. Duhamel adds, "she found a message in a bottle that washed ashore and said yes."

The pair's love story began in 2019 when Duhamel and Mari's candidly confirmed their romance with a PDA-packed airport appearance. A year and a half of romance and the Transformer actor was still head over heels for the former beauty pageant holder. "She's is a very sweet girl," Duhamel gushed. The actor, who is also from North Dakota, adds, "we love lake life. She has got a cabin not far from mine. We just match."

Duhamel and Audra's relationship came almost a year after the All My Children alum broke things off with Eiza Gonzalez, who is in a high-profile relationship with Jason Momoa. Duhamel and the Baby Driver actress began dating in 2018 and called it quits after a few months. "Their work schedules were tough on the relationship," an insider said.

The Transformer actor, who rose to fame playing the starring Leo du Pres on All My Children, was married to The Black Eyed Peas fame Fergie from January 2010 to November 2019. "With absolute love and respect, we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year," Duhamel and Fergie, who share a 9-year-old son, said in a statement.

Duhamel is an Emmy-nominated actor with credits in NBC's Las Vegas, Transformer franchise, When in Rome, Safe Haven, and Love, Simon. Duhamel's recent work includes Shotgun Wedding, Night of the Animated Dead, and Think Like a Dog. Duhamel's new wife, Mari, is a star in her own right. She won the first runner-up spot in the Miss Dakota Teen USA pageant in 2011 and was crowned the Miss North Dakota USA title in 2014. Mari is now a budding model and a television host.
