Lily Collins Marries Charlie McDowell

Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell Tied The Knots in Colorado: The Couple Got Engaged Last Fall.  

"I've never wanted to be someone's someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife," Lily Collins,32, captions as she shares a photo of herself with director Charlie McDowell, sharing a kiss at the altar. The Emily in Paris actress further writes, "On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other's forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell."  

Collins looked stunning in the long-sleeved wedding dress design by Ralph Lauren. The couple tied the knots on Saturday in Dunton, a luxury resort in Colorado. McDowell, 38, also made similar posts. "I married the most generous, thoughtful, and beautiful person I've ever known. I love you," the director wrote on one post.

Collins and McDowell were romantically linked in 2019. A year later, the speculation started, they decided to make their relationship Instagram official in August 2020. By September, the love birds were already engaged. Flaunting her rose-cut diamond ring with a thin gold band, the actress wrote, "I've been waiting my lifetime for you and I can't wait to spend our lifetime together."

.While the pandemic and lockdown have been an excruciating time for most of us, Collins shared, she and her then-boyfriend and now-husband grew closer in the period. "Eight months of being together in quarantine has definitely felt like the most incredible way of getting to know someone," she told Extra.

Lily Jane Collins is a British-American actress. Colins's breakout role was in the 2009 sports drama, The Blind Side. Her other notable credits include Love, Rosie. Rules Don't Apply, To The Bone, and most recently, Netflix's Emily in Paris. McDowell is a writer and director. His best-recognized work is the 2014 comedy thriller, The One I Love.
