Lionel Messi Agrees To Extend His Barcelona Stay And Later Joining MLS

The Argentinian forward is taking a $63 million pay cut over the next two years.

Reports suggest Lionel Messi has agreed to stay in Barcelona for the next two years. Moreover, sources say that he will move to the United States after completing two seasons at Barca. Reportedly, he will join David Beckham's Inter Miami in MLS.

Messi's new contract is worth $73 million (60m€) before taxes which is $42.73 million (35m€) after taxes. As a result, he will be cutting $64.70 million (53m€) from his previous salary.
