Reports suggest Lionel Messi has agreed to stay in Barcelona for the next two years. Moreover, sources say that he will move to the United States after completing two seasons at Barca. Reportedly, he will join David Beckham's Inter Miami in MLS.

The Barcelona legend shocked the whole footballing world when he asked the club, where he has been since he was 13, to let him go last season.
The 33-year-old was adamant about leaving, but the Catalans did not allow their star man to go. But after a year later, during which a new board was formed, the mercurial player has changed his decision and agreed to extend his stay till 2023.

Messi's new contract is worth $73 million (60m€) before taxes which is $42.73 million (35m€) after taxes. As a result, he will be cutting $64.70 million (53m€) from his previous salary.
