Luis Enrique Calls Kepa Arrizabalaga For Spain's Euro 2020 Standby Squad
The Chelsea goalkeeper has joined the squad on Tuesday as a part of the team's standby players for the tournament.
Spain has added Kepa Arrizabalaga to their squad only a few days before Euro 2020 kicks off. The competition will commence on June 11.
Spain's coach Luis Enrique decided to call the former Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper after Sergio Busquets, who has been chosen as the captain for Euro 2020, tested positive for Covid-19 a few days ago.
Luis Enrique had to have a backup plan if other players test corona positive.

The 51-year-old has taken into consideration that more players could test positive for coronavirus in th coming days. The 26-year-old stopper is the sixth player added to Spain's training squad.
Currently, Spain's whole 24-man squad chosen for the competition, including staff members, are in isolation. Thankfully, so far, other than Busquets, everyone has been tested negative for the virus.

The former World Cup winner was set to play the warm-up match against Lithuania on Tuesday, but they had to pull out after their captain tested positive. So instead, Spain's Under-21 team played, which they comfortably won with a score of 4-0.
The whole Span Euro 2020 squad is in isolation.

Spain is in Group E of Euro 2020 and will play their first match against Sweden on June 15.
