Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were once upon a time an exemplary couple of Hollywood, someone people the world overlooked up for the amazing relation they shared. Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt was born on 8 January 2005 in Awasa, Ethiopia, to her mother, Mentewab Dawit Lebiso. She named the little girl Yemasrech because its meaning was “good news.” The name and whereabouts of her biological father are still not clear because Zahara’s mother was raped when he was a teenager, and at the time of her birth, she was only 19 years old.

Fearing the repercussions of the birth of the child, she was going to face from her family, Mentewab hid her pregnancy and only revealed it to her mother when the stomach grew beyond any possibility of her being able to hide it. Her mother was supportive of the child's birth but needed to give her up after she was not able to take care of the baby.

Angelina visited the orphanage in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and on 6 July 2005 took custody of Zahara. She brought the little baby girl over to the United States, and the people at the orphanage told her Zahara was a AIDS kid. So as soon as the actress arrived in the States, she got her tested for HIV and AIDS, but the tests came back negative.

Zahara is only a month away from turning 15 years old, and she shares a good bond with both her parents. Brad adopted Zahara in 2006, almost a year after Jolie took custody of the kid.

Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt seems to be following in the footsteps of her father and mother in becoming an actress. Though she isn’t putting all her attention in acting, she did appear in her mother’s movie Maleficent. She played an uncredited role in the film, and later she voiced the character, 'Meng Meng,' in her mother’s movie 'Kung Fu Panda 3.' Before the movies, though, she also appeared as a baby in the show 'VH1: All Access' in the segment '20 Cutest Celebrity Babies' in 2006.

Zahara hasn’t explicitly expressed her desire to become an actress, but there are signs she is looking to be like her mother. Other than working on movies, she is also known for her famous friendship with Stranger Things actress Millie Bobbie Brown. The two friends were seen out and about on multiple occasions and were also seen holding hands while walking. It seems the friendship between the two grew pretty quickly, and now they call each other BFFs.

According to reports, Zahara co-designed her jewelry with Robert Procop for the premiere of 'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.' It seems a foray into the designing industry is also in store for Zahara if she wants to pursue it.
