Actress, model, and fashion designer Mena Suvari is happily married. After two failed marriages, Suvari may have found 'the one' this time; you know what they say, 'third time is a charm.' The actress birthed her first child and told several publications, 'Its going great.'  

Mena Alexandra Suvari was born on February 13, 1979, in Newport, Rhode Island. She is best known for her role in the 1999 dark comedy American Beauty. She received a BAFTA nomination for her role as Angela Hayes in the film. Inside Mena Suvari and Her Husband's Blissful Marriage!

The American Horror Story alum is loving married life. In April this year, she and her husband, Michael Hope, aka Mike, welcomed their first child, Christopher Alexander. Suvari's spouse works as a set decorator and props master. Hope has worked on projects like Cardinal, Killjoys, and Slasher.   

The America Pie famed actress and her loving husband exchanged their vows away from view. But since Suvari holds a massive spotlight, Mena's marriage to her husband did not stay hidden from the world. Michael and the mother of his child, Mena, had an intimate wedding with limited guests.

Hiding a wedding ring can be easy, but Suvari could hide the baby bumps. Although Mena and her husband, Hope, tied the knot in 2018, the actress and her spouse welcomed their child in 2021. 

Mena Suvari's Ex-Spouse

The actress/model has been married two times previously. She got hitched to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann on March 4, 2000. The duo got divorced in 2005. Suvari went through another failed marriage with concert promoter Simone Sestito. The pair were married from 2010 to 2012.

Mena and her now-husband Hope met on the set of I’ll Be Home for Christmas (2016). Suvari starred in the film, and Hope worked in the art department. The couple secretly got married in 2018. She didn't spill the beans on the event, but the actress told People, "I had my closest friends with me, it was very meaningful."    

Suvari, aged 42, said," It’s very nice just being settled, especially at this point in my life." Her husband has all love for his wife and son. "I knew this was going to be something special, the spark, the connection, and the love I felt with you," Hope wrote in one of his social media posts. 

Mena Suvari Makes a Shocking Revelation in her Memoir, The Great Peace!  

The Rhode Island-born actress is recounting her past traumas. On July 21, 2021, Suvari announced her memoir, The Great Peace: A Memoir, which narrates the actress's life before fame. In the book, Mena reveals she is a sexual abuse survivor, leading a very dark path.

In conversation with People Magazine, Suvari revealed she was in sixth grade when her older brother's friend raped her. At 17, she met a guy named Tyler, who sexually abused her for three years. She even admits to suffering from drug addiction. Her book was released on July 27, 2021.

After rising to fame after American Beauty, Suvari says she found solace in her work. But the traumatic experiences had broken Mena to her very core. The actress says she often felt like she was living a double life. The mother of one quote, "functioning on the outside and on the inside, desperately trying to heal."
