JLS was disbanded in 2013 after their last album, Goodbye: The Greatest Hits. Oritse entered the glitzy dance show Stepping Out in September 2013 with his then-girlfriend, Aimee Jade "AJ" Azari and nailed the competition. Williams and his bandmates have returned as a band and are set to tour again. The band announced their comeback in November 2019, and in September 2021, they released their lead single Eternal Love from their fifth album, 2.0.

Williams' £3million mansion in Croydon was severely damaged by a fire in 2019. The former lavish mansion has since been left abandoned. Investigation at the time revealed Williams' house was targeted days after the acquittal.

Neighbors of the singer claimed the windows and tiles of the mansion were smashed. Williams shared the mansion with his ex-girlfriend AJ Azari. The derelict mansion was sold at a £1.25 million loss last January. The former X-Factor contestant was charged with the rape of a fan in September 2018.
