Red Hot Chili Peppers: Guitarist Jack Sherman Dies at 64

Former RHCP guitarist Jack Sherman dies at 64.

Jack Sherman, the guitar player who played on American rock band's debut album Red Hot Chili Peppers, died at 64.

"Peace on the boogie platform," reads a tweet on the official account of RHCP. "He was a special person, and we thank him for all times good, bad and in between. Sherman, who joined the band in 1984 on their first US tour co-wrote songs for their second album as well.

The cause of Jack's death has not been disclosed. However, the band notified us about the guitarist demise by writing from their official website,

We of the RHCP family would like to wish Jack Sherman smooth sailing into the worlds beyond, for he has passed," the band wrote on their social media.
