TV Host Jackie Redmond - Like You Have Never Known Before!
Jackie Redmond is beautiful; it is the first thing you notice if you ever turn on the NHL & MLB Network. The beauty, though, is just an allusion to get out in and prepare you for what is going to happen next. You are going to fall in love with the voice, which is soothing and then the feisty nature of her remarks and the plethora sports knowledge which will even put you most learned bar sports analyst to shame.
The 5 feet 6 inches tall and 52kg weighing reporter goes toe to toe with people double her size and still come out victorious, and it is the one thing which makes the people wanting to come back for more and more. But she is not a sports analyst reading stuff off the prompter when she is not in the studio, Jackie is out and about watching local sports and sitting with watching parties in bars (there needs to be game sound though; otherwise she is gone).
Never shy to show off her knowledge about sports is the reason why most people (male and female) tune in to watch her, and once they do, they become fans. The blue-eyed anchor learned her craft in Canada, and she is conquering the American audiences one day at a time.
Education and the Start of Her Career
Jackie was born on 12 April 1986 to her father, Steve Redmond, and her mother in Ontario, Canada. Ontario is also the place where she spent the entirety of her early life and gained her formative education in her hometown high school.
From an early age, due to her father, Jackie was taken the love of hockey, and she learned everything she could about the game of hockey. She also grew to love other sports, but coming from Canada, hockey was her first love. While the nights were filled with sports references, the days were more like any other normal teenager.
Going the school was a must, and after she finished high school, Jackie made her way to the University of Guelph-Humber and graduated with a journalism diploma in 2010. Soon after getting her diploma, she made a short stint on Entertainment Tonight Canada, where she stuck it out for four months.
After her short stint there, she tried her luck in 'Gillette Drafted: The Search for Canada’s Next Sportscaster Season 3,' and she won the whole show. She was the first woman to win the show, and Jackie was offered a job in Sportsnet, where she worked as a co-host on [email protected] show.
But then came along the massive gig of working for the MLB and NHL Network in New York, and this was the type of opportunity she could not let go, which is why she left her old job, packed her bags, and moved from Ontario to New York.
Coming to America and Getting the Anchor Job in NHL & MLB Network
Sportsnet was a much-needed experience builder for Jackie, who took her education, years of learning, and much need on the job experience to her new job as the host of the NHL & MLB Network show, especially NHL Now show.
Interviewing players, coaches, and everyone important in between, the work with the network allowed Jackie to get to more and more audiences around the globe and make a name for herself. She also used her fame to start her own sports podcast call 'Puck Culture,' which is on Apple Podcast.
Jackie’s Relationship Status
Though the life of the sportscaster is a busy one, she gets little time for herself, and when she is off from her, watching sports and meeting friends is what she likes to do. But out of all the hustle and bustle of her life, she still managed to carve out a little personal space for herself where she can meet new people and fall in love with a handsome man.
When talking about sports, she comes up with some stats and jokes about learning a thing or two from her ex-boyfriend. But she is currently in a relationship with her boyfriend Emmett Blois, who is a gym owner and an Instagram influencer. He is also a subway partner and model for various other brands and products with his hunk body and a million-dollar smile.
The exact date of the two meetings with each other is still not known, but the first time they made an appearance on each other’s Instagram was on 1 and 2 May, respectively, where they called each other boyfriend and girlfriend. Ever since then, there is a steady stream of pictures of the two lovey-dovey with one another and attending weddings together.
They are in love, it is certain, but the two are neither engaged or getting ready to tie the knot. Jackie and Emmett is an adorable couple, which is why it would be amazing to see this picturesque couple get married.
