While the world got over from the shock of their favorite singer, Madonna diagnosed with coronavirus, now American Idol Laine Hardy got infected with the virus too.

As coronavirus pandemic continues to grow in a skyrocketing way around the globe, the United States of America has become one of the worst-hit countries so far as the number of death reached 472,856. The COVID-19 which originated from Wuhan, China has now reached more than 185 countries with 9,273,96668 cases and a death toll of 476,770 so far.

The COVID-19 is sparing none, be it commoner or celebrities. Not long ago, the news of the popular singers like Madonna, Pink, Charlotte Lawrence, and so on being infected with coronavirus shocked the fans, and now another celebrity's name is added to the list.

Laine Hardy got infected with coronavirus and is currently under home quarantine.

The winner of American Idol 2019, Laine Hardy shared the news of him being diagnosed with the coronavirus through his social media. Hardy made an announcement on his Instagram Story and Facebook page saying,

“This wasn’t what I expected on the first day of summer. My doctor confirmed I have Coronavirus, but my symptoms. Y’all stay safe & healthy!”

Well, his symptoms are not so severe and is currently recovering under home quarantine. What's more, Laine was enjoying his weekend with Miss Louisiana Teen USA Sydney Taylor who also tested positive for coronavirus. The American Idol also shared the beachside of himself and his rumored girlfriend, Sydney on his Instagram account.

As per The Advocate, Hardy recently performed the national anthem on Friday at swearing-in ceremonies for Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard's third term. Likewise, the 19-year-old singer completed a virtual tour amassing more than 2 million viewers.

Besides, Laine's next Livestream is scheduled on Thursday evening(25 June) and the acoustic version of his new songs 'Ground I Grew Up On' and 'Let There Be Country' will debut on 26th June, Friday.
