By now everyone is probably familiar with the prequel series of Game of Thrones, which may or may not be named Bloodmoon, is currently filming in Ireland. The series is more than likely going to arrive sometime in the mid-2020s, so the producers and casting directors are hard at work filling out the whole cast for the series.

The prequel series finished filming on the pilot episode in Italy, and the editors are trying to put together the footage for the top brass of HBO. We heard from the head of programming at HBO; the series is excellent and more than likely they will green-light the project. So, with almost no fear of being cut during production, ‘Bloodmoon’ is adding another member to the cast of character to the first season of the prequel series.

Former Vikings cast member, Tadhg Murphy, who played 'Arne' in the Scandinavian History channel series is making the jump from Ragnar’s ship to the still setting up sails of Game of Thrones prequel series. Arne was one of the warriors and archer who wore an eye patch in Ragnar’s army, SPOILER for season two of Vikings, during the battle with 'King Horik' and 'Rollo', Arne was killed by Rollo in season two.

The actor went on play in four episodes of 'Black Sails', and finally, he found his way into the Game of Thrones camp. The role he is playing is still unspecified according to Watchers on the Wall; there is a possibility he is only there to be killed, and it would be a Game of Thrones way of treating a character, but we are hoping greater things for the actor and his character in the series.

The confirmation of the actor’s involvement came from a Susannah Norris talent agency CV for the actor wherein the first paragraph it is written the actor recently filmed “the HBO pilot episode of the GAME OF THRONES Prequel, BLOODMOON.”

We also got some photos from the filming taking place in Gaeta Italy a while back where a boat sporting the banner of the Starks is on the water with seven Northmen on the boat, and one of them looks like Tadhg.

After the disappointment of the final season of Game of Thrones, most of the fans are burned, and pretty few are probably returning back to the world created by George R. R. Martin and ruined by D.B. Weiss and David Benioff. But with new characters and less egotistical creators of the show, maybe the prequel got a fighting chance of survival.

Here’s hoping the show is better than the final season of Game of Thrones and also Tadhg is there for more than just one episode. ‘Bloodmoon’ currently is without a release date but considering Warner Bros. stepping up their output to compete in the streaming industry, we see this one arriving sometime in April.
