A Quiet Place: Part 2 is coming and the trailer shows a mother's struggle to find a safe place for her kids.

'A Quiet Place' had mediocrity written all over it when the project was announced with the John Krasinski writing and directing the flick and his wife, Emily Blunt, starring in the movie. The film's logline felt like a template post-apocalyptic movie with fill in the blanks plotline drawn from better films, and no one was expecting the film to be anything other than barely watchable.

Well, to the surprise of everyone, 'A Quiet Place' turned out to be the best horror film of 2019 when the movie debuted in SXSW. A familiar plotline, as expected, but well thought out and balanced in tone with immense scare element and likable characters to get behind from the jump.

To be honest, it was one of our top five favorite movies of last year and a definite top five horror movie of the decade. Everyone was surprised by the minimalistic world building but the large uncertain scope of the flick, which is the reason why the film inspired repeat viewings and made over $340 million at the box office.

The ending of the movie was also fantastic, with John Krasinski putting forward his best acting to date, and Emily Blunt was what we expected her to be and then some more. We thought the explosive and almost cliffhanger ending was the last we see of 'A Quiet World,' but in Hollywood, nothing dies, and if a flick is profitable, most likely, a sequel will make its way to the masses.

So, as expected, the sequel to A Quiet Place is here, and the teaser alone was able to scare the people, but then Paramount released the full trailer for the movie, and to be honest, we were sold by the first 20 seconds of the clip.

When the sequel to 'A Quiet Place' was announced, there was a sigh among fans thinking the mystery of the first movie would be ruined, and those fear lasted till the moment we saw the first trailer. The first thing we see is the Abbott family; sans John Krasinski’s character moving through their home town when people start running; this is Day 0.

A Quiet Place Part 2 is about the survival of Evelyn and her kids in a world hunted by monsters and something even worse, humans.

The day the aliens who hunt with sound arrived on earth, and the bus scene of terrifying, and then the shot cuts to 'Evelyn' and her three kids leaving their burning home behind in search of a new place to call home. But as they venture away from the safety of their home, one thing becomes apparent; it’s not just the alien monsters who are the danger in the outside world.

We are also introduced to a mysterious character played by Cillian Murphy as 'Evelyn,' played by Emily Blunt, tries to figure out what’s best for her kids. As witnessed throughout the buildup of the first movie and then the finale of the first film, 'Evelyn' is a strong character, and she will do anything for her kids, either by being a nurturing mother or a shotgun-toting badass.
