Adele Breaks Her Silence on Rich Paul Breakup Speculation

Adele's relationship with her boyfriend of almost one year, Rich Paul, came under intense media scrutiny after sources claimed that the couple's romance was on rocky terms, as the Hello hitmaker canceled her Las Vegas residency last month. A little late, but the Grammy-winning singer has finally clapped back to the naysayers. 

Adele, 33, took to her Instagram on Tuesday night and revealed she would be performing at the BRIT next week and also left a cheeky message that hinted at her smooth relationship with Paul. "Hiya, so I'm really happy to say that I am performing at the Brits next week," the singer wrote, adding, "Anddddd I'll also be popping in to see Graham for a chat on the couch; while I'm in town too! I'm looking forward to it! Oh, and Rich sends his love."

When the Brit abruptly canceled her LA residency last month, tabloids suspected a hiccup in her personal life, and to make it worse, several insiders fueled the idea. "She and Rich had been fighting, and their relationship was volatile before she canceled her dates," a source told Page Six.

It further revealed, "Adele is very emotional and dramatic. He's an NBA guy who has to go on the road — they are very different — and they hit a rough patch." Several sources chimed on to claim the couple's busy schedule as a reason behind their strained relationship. But as evident from Adele's latest post, the duo is yet to hit the rough patch in their romance.

Adele started dating Paul, 40, a sports agent, in July 2021. The Easy on Me singer was married to charity entrepreneur Simon Konecki from 2017 to 2019. They had their son, Angelo James, in 2012. The pair's divorce was finalized in March 2021. While gushing about her budding romance with Paul last year, Adele said, "I don't feel anxious or nervous or frazzled; it's quite the opposite. It's wild."
