Alexandra Daddario was born on March 16, 1986, in New York City, New York. Her family has much activity in both the law and entertainment sectors. Her father, Richard Daddario, was a prosecutor, and her mother, Christina, was both an attorney and an actress. 

Daddario spent most of her life growing up on Manhattan's Upper East Side, attending the highly competitive Bard College to study theater.

Acting Career

The early 2000s had acting career lessons for Daddario, who took bit parts in television series such as "The Last Man on Earth" and "The Sopranos." In 2010, she was cast as Annabeth Chase, which originally launched her into wider exposure with the Percy Jackson film series. 

She went on to play bigger roles in movies like "San Andreas," "Baywatch," and an HBO series called "True Detective," where she gained acclaim.

In 2021, Daddario got engaged to film producer Andrew Form. The following June, the two of them married in New Orleans.

It was back in July 2024 when Daddario herself announced that she was expecting her first child with her husband, Andrew Form. That came after going through pregnancy loss, which she explained to have been "long and complicated" and "very, very painful."

Now, Daddario is "overjoyed" to be pregnant again and is finally embracing her pregnancy, even though she originally confessed that it was quite hard to process.
