Ariana Grande Has Reunited With Social House For New Song 'Boyfriend'

Ariana Granda is set to debut another chart topper with her trusted collaborators Social House.

Ariana Grande is one of the hardest working musicians currently plying her trade in the music game. There is no stopping the prodigious artist, just look at her discography, two albums in six months’ time and both critically acclaimed. So, it is no surprise when she is still trying to record music while on tour.

The ponytail aficionado is getting back together with the talented 'Social House' for her new song ‘Boyfriend.’

Grande is currently on tour, but she still took time to post a promo for her new song which is set to debut on 1 August 2019. She is working with Michael Foster and Charles Anderson, who form the rap collective known as Social House.

This is the fourth time Ariana collaborated with the duo who previously worked with her on the hit track ‘Thank U, Next’ and ‘7 Rings.’

The group who got the hitmaker to sing on their track ‘Haunt You,’ talked about the theme of the song. They said, “It's probably our most meaningful song. We themed our EP and our album off a relationship, and it has a hint of the issues that go on in the relationship like sometimes your insecurities ...,” they continued, “how you may have something beautiful and this amazing thing or person that you love but sometimes you feel insecure because you might not be good enough, you might want to be better for them.”

Ariana was in her comfort zone singing on the track as she is no stranger to relationship-themed songs. Some of her songs are also about relationships. Her most recent hit ‘Thank U, Next’ name-dropped some of Arianna’s ex like the deceased rapper Mac Miller and her ex-fiance Pete Davidson.

2019 wasn’t particularly kind to Ariana as she was having trouble coping with the loss of Mac and her short-lived engagement. She poured herself into her music and came out with love & adoration from her fans.

Arianna also recently received her Grammy for Best Pop Vocal after she pulled out from her performance during the show. She clashed with the executive producer Ken Ehrlich and was unable to collect her trophy which finally arrived five months later.

Ariana was happy with her award as she took to Instagram to share a picture of the shiny gong and captioned the photo, “really glad i checked the mail.”

Ariana Grande’s manager Scooter Braun also praised her for her awards “This right here is family. I couldn't have been prouder this week to deliver this one her very first Grammy. There is no one more deserving, and this is truly the first chapter of her epic story. She is an icon living and is exactly who she claims to be. Yes she is now and forever more Grammy award winner @arianagrande but to me she is simply Ari... one of the strongest people I know with a heart of gold. Proud of you Ari!! Love yah.”

It seems like the new song is coming at the right time so she can celebrate both a new chart-topper with her shiny trophy from the Grammy’s. The song it seems is also being accompanied by a video as Hannah Lux Davis is said to be directing the music video.

Tune in two days from now to find the final product by the ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ hitmaker. She is sure to make some movement inside the Billboard Top 100.
