Bob Saget's family says the comedian died from head trauma: Complete story here!
A month ago, on January 9, beloved comedian and actor Bob Saget was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. The stand-up comedian's cause of death wasn't revealed at the time, but the late comedian's surviving family have finally revealed the cause and have brought closure to the case.
"In the weeks since Bob's passing, we have been overwhelmed with the incredible outpouring of love from Bob's fans, which has been a great comfort to us and for which we are eternally grateful," Bob's family's statement reads. "Now that we have the conclusions from the authorities' investigation, we felt it only proper that the fans hear those conclusions directly from us," they explained.

The family's statement goes on to read, "The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma. They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it, and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved."The message further asks Bob's fans to retain the comedian's message of love and kindness in their heart.

"We ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter," Saget's family's message concludes. The Fuller House actor was on a comedy tour on the day of his death.

Saget had performed in Ponte Vedra Beach the previous night and was in the hotel hours after performing near Jacksonville, Florida. The Orange County Sheriff's Office determined there was no foul play in Saget's death but couldn't arrive at a conclusion.
Saget, who passed away aged 65, was a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He rose to stardom playing Danny Tanner on the sitcom Full House. His widow, Kelly Rizzo, opened about her grief in an interview.
