Who is Bob Saget's Wife? The Stand-Up Comedian has Passed Away at 65

An actor, a comedian, and a television show host, Bob Saget's multi-faceted career, all celebrated in their own right, is being recalled once again, as the actor's death at 65 shakes the industry. Saget was found unresponsive on January 9 in an Orlando hotel room while on tour. Saget's massive net worth at the time of his death is revealed here. 

Born Robert Lane Saget on May 17. 1966, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in a Jewish family, he graduated from Temple University in 1978. Bob studied film at Temple and received a Student Academy Award for his film Through Adam's Eyes. Saget's role in the sitcom Full House, Critical Condition, and Fuller House made him the ultimate star in the industry. Saget was married twice and was a father to three daughters from his first marriage.

Before he had a taste of fame, Saget had a taste of married life. The actor married his first wife, Sherri Kramer, in 1982, and together, they welcomed three daughters, Aubrey, born in 1987; Lara Melanie, born in 1989; and Jennifer Belle, born in 1992. The couple separated and filed for divorce a little after Bob rose to fame with Full House in 1997.

For nearly two decades, Saget was a single father and had no news-worthy relationship with any fellow stars or commoners, but the star met Kelly Rizzo, a show host, in 2015 and knew that she was the one. The couple wedded three years later in 2018, as per the late star's close friend and touring partner, Mike Young; Saget was religiously committed to his wife.

"Bob was so happy and he talked about her all the time," Young revealed in his statement. He continued, "It was a great relationship and they were perfect for each other because they're just two neurotic people living under one roof. He would get up at five o'clock in the morning to get on the first flight to go back to his wife and get home."    

Saget is survived by Rizzo, his ex-wife and their three daughters.

In their little lifetime spent together, Saget and Rizzo didn't have welcome any child together. The couple revealed they decided not to have children. Rizzo, 42, has worked as the host of Eat Travel Rock. Although a smaller star than her acclaimed celebrity husband, Rizzo is often featured on EXTRA, ABC, BRAVO for her content on food, travel, and lifestyle.

Rizzo posted an emotional tribute for her late husband, where she revealed her husband's heartwarming qualities. Posting an old selfie of the couple, Rizzo writes, 'My sweet husband, after much reflection this week, I'm trying, really trying, to not think that I was robbed of time, instead to think how lucky I was that I got to be the one to be married to the most incredible man."

Rizzo's tribute further read, "Bob was a force. I'm sure every one of you out there, whether you knew him or not, was in awe of the enormous outpouring of love and tribute for this special man. It was like nothing anyone has ever seen." Saget was laid to rest at Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery on January 14.

Following the actor's funeral on Friday, Rizzo revealed in a conversation that she had no regrets. "We loved each other so damn much and told each other 500 times every day," the food blogger said. "I'm so grateful for that. Not everyone gets that," Rizzo adds.
