Britney Spears Doesn't Want Her Father's Hindrance In Her Prenup With Sam Asgari: Exclusive Story Here! 

Britney Spears, 39, wants her father, Jamie Spears, removed from the role of her conservator immediately. Britney's lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, revealed Britney plans to negotiate a prenuptial agreement with fiance Sam Asghari and hence wants her father out of the way. The push has come just days after Jamie filed a petition citing he will terminate the arrangements after 13 years. 

Rosengart petitioned a Los Angeles court on Wednesday to replace Jamie Spears with a temporary conservator. He cites the conservatorship should be terminated this fall. Jodi Montgomery, who inspects Spears' personal decision, also concurred with the new filling.

"In the meantime, if Mr. Spears will not resign now, even though he has petitioned in effect, for his own removal — Mrs. Spears requests that at the September 29 hearing, the Court suspend Mr. Spears as immediately and formally appoint his temporary successor," read the new legal filing.

"We are pleased by Mr. Spears's recent forced concessions, and my client looks forward to the prompt termination of the conservatorship, and to her freedom," Rosenghart told CBS News in a statement. He has listed several reasons why Jamie should resign or be removed ASAP, listing Jamie's poor financial story, his toxic relationship with the pop star and Britney's mother, Lynne Spears, and Montgomery's unanimity on the subject.    

Spears and Asghari announced their engagement earlier this month.

To which, Asghari, 27, wrote, "Of course we're getting [an] iron-clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection incase [sic] she dumps me one day."
