Calvin Harris Splits from his Girlfriend, Aarika Wolf After Four Years of Relationship: His Relationship History

Calvin Harris and Aarika Wolf’s relationship timeline: The couple recently called it quits!  

Scottish DJ and singer Calvin Harris, best known for his hitmakers I’m Not Alone, In My Arms, and Dance Wiv Me, has split from his girlfriend of four years, model Aarika Wolf, who he began dating in 2017 and has been in an on-and-off affair since. Harris’s split from his girlfriend comes just weeks before the release of Harris’s long-awaited sequel Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2.  

The BRIT Award-winning singer was born Adam Richard Wiles on January 17, 1984, in Dumfries, Scotland. Calvin kickstarted his career with talent booker Mark Gillespie’s obscure management firm as the first signee and later got his big breakthrough Three Six Zero Group management. Harris has dated some famous beauties of the industry, but his recently dissolved relationship with Wolf has been a lasting romance.

Harris and model Wolf has called it quits on their four years-long romance. The pair haven’t officially announced the split just yet, but credible sources have come out with details indicating their separation and the pair’s bumpy relationship. The source claimed the duo ended things amicably.

As per the insider, the estranged pair were struggling with their busy schedule and Harris’s regular trips to his Ibiza farm, leaving Wolf behind in the States. “Their split is amicable, but their relationship had been strained for quite some time,” said the source, adding, “he has a busy year on the cards with lots of shows being booked, which means he will be away on the road even more.”

Calvin and Aarika’s split was perhaps long pending. The recently estranged pair haven’t publicly professed their love for months now, even though loved-up dates and consistent PDAs defined their relationship initially. The insider says Harris and Aarika mutually agreed to call it off after contemplating their future together. “It’s really sad, but they both know it is for the best,” said the source said.

Harris, 38, and Wolf, 27, started dating in 2014 after Wolf, who shot to fame as an Instagram model, starred in his top charting Blame. They confirmed their separation after eight months in 2018 before rekindling in 2017 and again calling quits a few months after.   

"It's sad but they it is for the best," an insider said.

When Harris and the model again struck up a romantic connection in 2018, many thought they were an end game. Wolf moved into Calvin's mansion, and the duo even adopted a puppy and a cat together, indicating a more matured and transformed relationship. "This time pals believe their relationship will last the distance," a source had said.

It wouldn't be wrong to brand the Scottish DJ's dating history as expansive and high-profile. As Calvin's career skyrocketed with his hit collaboration with Rihana, with the two joining hands for Riri's Loud Tour, and her hitmakers We Found Love and Where Have Been?, which subsequently led the DJ to global prominence, Harris's low-key love life also became a curiosity among his fans, that unveiled his romance with Anne Vyalitsyna.

Model Vyalitsyna and Harris's relationship started and ended in 2013. Harris was next linked with singer Ellie Goulding, who starred in his I Need Your Love music video, which featured the duo enjoying incessant lip-locking. The pair's sizzling chemistry was never confirmed off-screen, and soon the DJ was confirmed to be in a relationship with singer Rita Ora, also Goulding's close friend.

Harris and Ora's romance lasted a year, so began Calvin's best-known romance with Taylor Swift, who he dated from 2015 to 2016. The pair were quick to call it quits and move on with their dating fest, with Swift starting an affair with Tom Hiddleston and Harris moving on with Tinashe.
