Chanel Iman Debuts New Romance Almost a Year After Split From Sterling Shepard

Chanel Iman is dating another NFL player after split from Sterling Shepard: Complete story here! 

Chanel Iman has a new man in her life, and it is yet again another NFL player. Her new flame, Davon Godchaux, New England Patriots defensive lineman, has even made it to the model's Instagram, so might we assume that things are getting pretty serious between the two. Iman, 31, was last married to New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard, with whom she shares two kids.  

Posting a loved-up picture of herself with Godchaux, where the defensive lineman can be seen kissing Chanel at the Coachella festival, the model captions the post with a heart emoji. Godchaux, too, made it official on his Instagram page, where he shared numerous pictures of themselves having a blast at the music festival. Davon confesses his love to his 34.5k followers with the caption "mine."

Godchaux, 27, a native of Plaquemine, Louisiana, was picked by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. After two years of collegiate career at LSU, Godchaux spent four seasons with the Dolphins, during which he set a record of 179 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and three sacks in 52 games. He signed a two-year contract with the Patriots in March 2021. The news of Davon's budding romance with the model comes just months after her divorce from Shepard came to light.

Shepard had originally filed for divorce in June 2021, citing irreconcilable differences. When the couple's bumpy marriage and divorce filing was revealed earlier this year, a source said, "They are trying to work out their plan on how they will co-parent their daughters peacefully," adding, "They are going to try and remain civil and friendly towards each other." Iman, best known for modelling as one of the Victoria's Secret Angel, said yes to Sterling's proposal after a year of dating in December 2017.

Can’t wait to be your Mrs," then newly-engaged Chanel has gushed in one of her posts. The duo tied the knots on March 3, 2018, at Beverly Hills Hotel. Iman gave birth to their firstborn Cali in August 2018 and Cassie in December 2019.
