Check Out The Synopsis And Key Art Of The Walking Dead Season 10

AMC just released the key art and synopsis for the tenth season of The Walking Dead, in lieu with their other announcements for the upcoming season.

With each and every day The Walking Dead is nearing the premiere date of the tenth (insert shocked emoji here!!) season of the hit zombie series. The series is definitely a rollercoaster ride with the last couple of seasons all going downhill and plummeting in quality and content.

By the middle of the ninth season the story did pick up some steam, and there was an amount of coherence when it comes to storytelling. It wouldn’t be a Walking Dead season without an outstanding episode fifteen then a lousy season finale, which was also the case in season nine. With the tenth season nearing the premiere date, AMC continually released some interesting tidbit and cast news for the new season. The first few weeks were news of the upcoming and outgoing cast members and this week AMC decided it was time to release the key art for the forthcoming season.

In the image, the network is giving people exactly what they want, Michonne, Daryl and Carol all taking center stage played by Danai Gurira, Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride respectively. From the first time we saw the cast of The Walking Dead, these three characters gradually started to take the center stage, and after all the characters now gone, we saw the three take on the major role in the past couple of seasons. This will also be the case in the tenth season, going by the art released by the channel. Check out the image below;

We know Danai Gurira is appearing in her final season for The Walking Dead. We got confirmation the actress who appeared in the Black Panther movie, as well as the Avengers sequel, will be stepping away from her start making the performance of the show. We also found out in comic con, Negan and Daryl will be working together in the upcoming season, to fight a new threat on the horizon. To the effect, AMC also released a long synopsis for the next season.

“The Walking Dead is a story that started 10 years ago with one man trying to find his family. That family grew and gradually communities took shape. They fought and survived, thrived and gave birth to a new generation. It is a tale of humankind and there are more stories to tell. It is now Spring, a few months after the end of Season 9, when our group of survivors dared to cross into Whisperer territory during the harsh winter,” according to AMC. “The collected communities are still dealing with the after effects of Alpha’s horrific display of power, reluctantly respecting the new borderlines being imposed on them, all while organizing themselves into a militia-style fighting force, preparing for a battle that may be unavoidable.

The question of what to do and the fear it breeds will infect the communities and give rise to paranoia, propaganda, secret agendas, and infighting that will test them as individuals and as a society. The new season of The Walking Dead is coming on 6 October 2019.
