Chelsea Move Towards Signing Jude Bellingham For A £100 Million Deal

Yes, you heard it right - the headline isn't clickbait. European giants Chelsea aim for yet another big summer transfer window as they become the first side with an actual attempt to sign the 17-year-old English sensation Jude Bellingham from Borrusia Dortmund.

While most of the European clubs like Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are interested in signing Jude's fellow mate, Erling Haaland, Thomas Tuchel seems to believe that Jude Bellingham is a better fit for the London club in his project.

The box-to-box midfielder is quite versatile and possesses a direct threat to the goal, which has been seen a lot more in recent times. He has created a big name for himself as a teenager after signing for the German club in a £25 million deal.

Jude Bellingham scored a goal against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals and impressed the whole world with his exceptional performance over two legs. One of his newest big fans was Pep Guardiola, who said that the English footballer 'must be lying about being 17.'

As per the recent reports from Dailymail, the price tag of Jude Bellingham hails to be at the same bracket as fellow Dortmund stars like Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland at a far younger age, i.e., £100 million.

It would be a big boost for Chelsea, who has struggled quite a lot in front of goal regardless of their new signings like Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, and Kai Havertz. There aren't many English footballers who play abroad, and Chelsea would be a perfect place for Jude to bolster his career in England under Thomas Tuchel.

While Chelsea is the frontrunner right now, other English giants would also be interested in signing in him sooner rather than later - with Manchester City being one of them.
