Christy McGinity of 'Little Women: LA' Lost Her 2 Weeks Old Daughter

"Little Women: L.A." star Christy McGinity recently shared the news of the death of a 2-week old daughter.

Christy McGinty and her boyfriend, Gonzalo Justo Carazo, recently lost their daughter, Violet Eva, on March 20, 2020. 

In an interview with People, the Little Women star emotionally said, "It is with our deepest sorrow that we send our baby girl Violet Eva Carazo to play with the angels," McGinty also added, "We were able to spend two weeks with our sweet baby girl, and for that, we are forever thankful."

The baby, Violet Eva was born seven weeks premature.

The 42-year-old gave birth to her baby girl at an early 33 weeks along with her pregnancy on March 6. Violet Eva weighed 3 pounds, 15 ounces, and 15 inches long during the time of her birth. 

A proud father, Carazo, wrote in a post while celebrating one week birthday of their daughter saying, "Thank You for making me a Dad and bringing me an entirely new perspective during your first week of Life. We love you so much!"

The couple excitedly revealed the news of expecting a child early this September to their Instagram followers. They shared the story with a lovely picture of Carazo kissing the baby bump and captioning it as, good thing come to those to wait.

Post Violet's birth, McGinty was constantly in and out of the hospital, and she got contractions early on February during her pregnancy. 

Christy shared a picture of her swollen stomach writing, 'She's not ready. Please pray that the contractions stop.'

Besides the little women star's late daughter Violet, Christy is also mother to daughter Autumn and son Trenton from her previous marriage.
