Colin Firth and Livia Giuggioli met for the first time in 1996 when they were both working on the movie 'Nostromo.' Livia was working as a production assistant for a while in 1996 when the two fell in love and started to date. Then a year later the cute couple on 21 June 1997 and they started to live in Italy and England.

Work took hold in their relationship, and for the first three years, there was no sign of the couple starting a family together. But after the turn of the century Livia got pregnant and their first son together, Luca, was born in 2001. After a year’s gap, Livia was pregnant again, and the couple’s second son, Mateo, was born in 2003.

Colin Firth was starting out in his career as an actor in 1986 when the actor met British actress and novelist Meg Tilly in 1989. Their relationship was fast-paced, and in 1990 their son William Joseph Firth was born. The couple did not stay together longer, and in 1994, they called it quits.

The breakup of his parents’ relationship seemingly did not negatively impact the growing kid who shares a good bond with his father. He is also walking in his father’s footsteps in becoming an actor.
