Cristiano Ronaldo Reveals Death of His Newborn Boy

Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner announced the death of their newborn boy: Also revealed the birth of their baby girl!  

Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, are going through the worse pain imaginable. In a heartbreaking post on Monday, the couple revealed the death of one of their twins. In October, Ronaldo and Rodriguez had announced that they were expecting twins. "Delighted to announce we are expecting twins, our hearts are full of love, and we can't wait to meet you." Ronaldo wrote on a post.  

"It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away," Ronaldo, 37, wrote in a post, which was also signed by his girlfriend, Rodriguez, 28. The joint statement further reads, "Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We want to thank the doctors and nurses for their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss, and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time."

"Ronaldo will reportedly not be playing against Liverpool in the Premier League on Tuesday," the Manchester United club announced while sympathizing with their striker's loss. "Family is more important than everything, and Ronaldo is supporting his loved ones at this immensely difficult time," the club said in a statement, adding, "As such, we can confirm that he will not feature in the match against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday evening and we underline the family’s request for privacy."

Cristiano's heartbreaking post has his fans and the sporting world, in particular, sending the Ronaldo family their love and condolence. Liverpool icon Kenny Dalglish and soccer player Ruslan Malinovskyi paid tribute to Ronaldo's late son and sent the family their wishes. Usain Bolt and Pau Gasol are the few of many who took to their social media handles to support the Ronaldo family.

The Portuguese footballer is a doting father of five children. His eldest son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, was born on June 17, 2010. The Manchester striker then revealed that he'd be keeping his son's mother's identity a secret as promised to her. Ronaldo went to welcome twins Eva and Mateo via surrogacy in June 2017 and didn't indulge the media on why he had opted for surrogacy. Cristiano's fourth offspring, Alana Martina, came to the world a year after he started dating Rodriguez. The couple hasn't revealed their surviving daughter's name.
