Cristiano Ronaldo Equals the Record for the Most Goals Scored in International Football
Cristiano Ronaldo has been in outstanding form in the ongoing UEFA European Championship.
Cristiano Ronaldo has once yet proven why he is the best player in the world. After his two crucial goals in Euro 2020 match against France, he equaled an all-time international goalscoring record.
Cristiano Ronaldo now has 109 international goals.

In the match which ended 2-2 draw against France, Ronaldo's goals came from the penalty spot. He scored the opening goal of the game in the 30th minute giving Portugal the lead, and the second one in the 60th minute. He has now scored 109 goals for his country, leveling with Iranian former striker Ali Daei.
The 36-year-old superstar is also Euro 2020's top scorer with five goals in three games so far. In addition, he's got an assist too. He's now got 14 European championship goals to his name which is five more than France legend Michel Platini.

France's two goals came from Karim Benzema, who had a fantastic game too. His first goal came as a penalty at the end of the first half while the second one came at the 47th minute just after halftime.
Portugal have succeeded in reaching the last 16 of Euro 2020 finishing third in Group F, the group of death. They will be facing Belgium in the knockout stage of the competition.
