Cristiano Ronaldo was quite furious last night as his last-second goal vs. Serbia was canceled out by the referee. 

Portuguese skipper Cristiano Ronaldo was left distraught as his last-minute winner vs. Serbia was disallowed. Well, the anger and distraught on the Juventus forward was pretty much justified as his shot clearly went past the goal line. The match ended in a 2-2 draw.

Since the World Cup Qualifier last night between Serbia and Portugal didn't have the luxury to use goal-line technology, the former Real Madrid winger was pretty upset to get his goal disallowed. His goal would have proved to be a vital winner for the team to get all three points in a tight group.

In the group A match of the World Cup qualifiers, it was the Portuguese side who looked comfortable to win in the first half with two goals from Liverpool winger Diogo Jota. However, the Serbians did show their capabilities by making a comeback to level the game with goals from Mitrovic and Kostic

Cristiano Ronaldo was quite involved in the match against Serbia throughout the evening, but he was pretty unlucky not to get into the scoresheet.

He was at the closest to the goal in the last minute when the Juventus talisman, Cristiano Ronaldo, had his effort cross the goal line, as per the replays. However, the match officials didn't see the ball cross the line, and thus resulted in denying the goal.

The aftermath of that wasn't a sight any Ronaldo fans would like as the Portugal captain couldn't believe his goal-getting ruled out. The forward even tore off his captain armband, which led him to get a yellow card. Following that, he couldn't hold his temper and walked into the dressing room straight away.
