Best recognized for her titular character in Disney's Liv and Maddie, which endowed her with an Emmy. Dove Cameron is also a top-charting singer. Her other notable acting credits include Mal in Descendants, Mary in The Secret Garden, and Amber Von Tussle in NBC's Hairspray Live. As a singer, Cameron's biggest hits remain her If Only, On Top of the World, and the recently released Boyfriend.  

Dove Olivia Cameron was born on January 15, 1996, in Bainbridge Island, Washington. Before breaking through for her dual role as Liv and Maddie Rooney in the comedy series Liv and Maddie, Dove had little experience in theatre acting. From coming out as bisexual in 2020 to later declaring her sexuality as queer, Cameron has always been candid about her love life.

Along with her budding professional feats, Cameron continues to maintain her place in the headlines for her exciting love life. Although the Descendants actress has a reputation for being brutally honest about her sexuality, Dove says the tenacity didn't come easily. Cameron was last in a high-profile relationship with Thomas Doherty.

Cameron started dating her Descendants co-star Doherty in 2017, and the duo announced their split in 2020. After her highly publicized romance with Doherty, Cameron has seemingly decided to keep her current romance a secret. But Cameron has had a hard-luck keeping her new man a mystery. The songstress is believed to be dating fellow musician Alexander 23.

Cameron and Alexander's hush-hush romance was exposed early last year. In March, the pair starred in Dove's PDA-filled music video LazyBaby, which sparked speculations. An insider confirmed the pair's romance a month later, saying, "They've been casually dating for the past month and a half, though it's not official just yet." Cameron's" alleged romance with Alexander came shortly after her ex-boyfriend, Doherty, started dating model Yasmin Wijnaldum.

Alexander 23, real name, Alexander Glantz, is best known for his hits like I'm Sorry I Love You, Cry Over Boys. Also a record producer, Glantz co-produced Olivia Rodriguez's Good 4 u and has collaborated with Selena Gomez and Jeremy Tucker in the past. Alexander is signed to Interscope Records.

"I'm super queer. This is something I want to represent through my music because it's who I am," Cameron declared shortly after the release of her song We Belong. Cameron's first known boyfriend was her Liv & Maddie co-star Ryan McCartan. The pair started dating in August 2013 and even got engaged in April 2016. The Disney alums called it quits after only two months of being engaged.

The actress was briefly linked with her Cloud-9 co-star Kiersey Clemons. When Dove turned 21 in 2017, she got matching tattoos with Clemons and later published a snapshot of themselves sharing a passionate smooch, which ignited dating rumors. Cameron met with a barrage of comments with fans asking if she was bi or gay, but the actress pleaded her right to privacy and only came out of the closet in 2020.

Cameron's next flame had to be yet another of her co-star, given the actress's inclination in the past. She and Doherty met on the sets of Descendants 2 in late 2016, and their relationship veered from collegial to couple real quick. Cameron confirmed her romance with Doherty in February 2017 and dated the actor for four years.

The songstress and her then-beau called it quits in October but only addressed their breakup after two months. "We know there have been some rumors and confusion lately about the status of our relationship and we wanted to set the record straight," Dove's statement read. She adds, "In October, Thomas and I decided to part ways. The decision was incredibly difficult, but we still have love for each other, and will remain friends."
