As long as Emma Rose Roberts, aka Emma Roberts, and Garrett John Hedlund, aka Garrett Hedlund, find out, it is hard for their relationship to work out; they parted their ways. 

After dating for more than three years, the lovey-dovey couples called it was quite a couple of weeks ago. Multiple outlets noted, "It's sad, and they are trying their best to co-parent. It's been hard," according to E Online.

Their heartbreaking split was quite shocking news as it's been just a year they together welcomed their baby boy. Back in August 2020, it was publicly announced that the couple was expecting their first child together. Their son, Rhodes Robert Hedlund, was born on 27 December 2020.

After getting separated having a baby, the Insider said, ''Having a newborn in the pandemic has been a lot harder than either of them expected, but they're trying their best to figure things out.''

An American actress and singer, Emma and an American actor, model and singer, Garrett, started dating in March 2019, just one month after Emma broke off her second engagement to her American Horror Story co-star Evan Peters, whom she began dating in 2012.

Emma, 30, and Garrett, 37, have been very private about their togetherness since they started dating. After then, the duo first sparked dating rumors back in March 2019. At that time, a separate insider shared that Emma and Garrett had "gone on a few casual dates" and were "exploring a relationship," but that the two actors weren't "anything serious yet."

In May 2019, Emma told outlets about her dating life, "I never want to talk about relationships I'm in or that are ending or have ended. It's hard enough to be with someone by yourself, let alone with an audience."

Fortunately, the pairs confirmed their togetherness after they were spotted together. They were seen laughing and holding hands while out and about in Los Angeles. Then they public their relationship five months later, in August 2019.
