EURO 2020: Germany Won While France Drew Leaving "Group F" Wide Open

Every four team has a chance to qualify for the knock out stage.

After losing their first match against, Germany has bounced back with a bang with a convincing 4-2 victory over the reigning European champion Portugal. 

Despite conceding first through an excellent counterattack play by Portugal, the three times EURO Champion responded excellently and dominated throughout the match in both possession and attack.

The final match of Group F will be played on Wednesday evening.

The final score was 4-2 in favor of Germany, two of which were put inside their own net by Portuguese defenders. Germany are now in the second position of their group with their first win of this year's competition.

Meanwhile, Frace drew against Hungary, who are the weakest team in the group. The match played at Hungary's home ground Ferenc Puskas Stadium Budapest, certainly gave them an advantage.

Group F is considered the group of death in the EURO 2020 edition, and it has certainly lived up to its hype.

In the final group stage match, Portugal will face France while Germany will go against Hungary on Wednesday. The top two teams will move to the round of 16 of the tournament.

All four nations France, Germany, Hungary, and Portugal, have the chance to proceed to the next. For France to go through, they just need a draw against Portugal while Portugal needs to win over France.

Every team from Group F has the possibility of going into the knockout stage of EURO 2020.

For Germany to proceed, they also need to win, or if they draw, Portugal should lose. Despite not winning a game, Hungary can still qualify for the next round if they win their match against Germany and hope that Portugal loses against France.
