Gareth Bale Plans to Return to Real Madrid After The Season Ends
Wales star has said he is thinking of returning to Real Madrid next season.
Football player Gareth Bale has said that he wants to go back to the Spanish club Real Madrid. The 31-year-old, who is on a contract with Real Madrid, joined his former club on a one-season loan deal.

Since arriving at the London club, Bale struggled with injuries like he did in Spain at the beginning of the season. Even after managing to get game time, he could not find the back of the net often.

However, in the recent weeks, he's been in form and has scored nine goals and assisted two for Tottenham.
Speaking in an interview, the winger told:
"I think the main reason I came to spurs this year was to play football first and foremost but going into the Euros, I want to be match-fit."
Bale added:
"The original plan was to do a season at Spurs and after the Euros still have a year left at Real Madrid. My plan is to go back and that's as far I've planned to be honest."
Bale remained one of the unused players by coach Zinedine Zidane at Madrid. The former Premier League Player of the Year played only 14 matches in the 2019-20 campaign for the Spanish giants. The Welsh captain earns a whopping $33 million a season at Real.

Wales will begin their World Cup qualifiers match against Belgium on Wednesday with the second match at home to the Czech Republic on March 30.
