George Clarke Splits from Wife Katie Morgan Jones After Four Years of Marriage

Best known for fronting shows like The Restoration Man and Remarkable Renovations, architect and television presenter George Clarke has ended his four-year marriage with Katie Morgan Jones. The reports of the couple's split came after the duo listed their countryside bungalow for sale for £870,000.  

Clarke, 47, married Jones, a marketing consultant, in an Ibiza beach, in 2018. As per a few sources, Katie hinted at her tumultuous personal life and unstable marriage in several cryptic Instagram posts. "Through the most bizarre and traumatic situation. Now to the future. After a weird couple of years, it's time for a change," one of Katie's posts read.

The now-estranged couple initially moved into their London after their wedding and later moved to their Cotswolds estate and spent their time between the two homes. Jones seemingly spent the pandemic and the induced lockdown alone in one of the homes as the marketing consultant talked about "enduring the lockdown on her own in a post. Katie called the alone time a "test of mental agility."

Sources close to the pair have confirmed their split, though the parties involved are yet to comment on it. Perhaps the Remarkable Renovation presenter is head buried in his work amid this ongoing tribulation. George recently took to his Instagram to share news on his latest completed project.

"What a fantastic day I had yesterday at our Home Building Factory in Alfreton," the English presenter wrote, adding, "It's been tough to make it happen, but manufacturing’ new homes in a more controlled, safer, the weather-protected environment is 100% the way forward. What’s exciting about manufacturing homes in a factory like this is that innovation never ends once you start, which I love." 

The Restoration Man star shares three children, sons Georgie and Emilio, and a daughter, Iona, with his ex-wife animator and art director Catriona Drummond, whom he was married to from 2009 to 2014. "We have been married quite a long time and decided to part. We have separate custody of the kids and are going through an amicable separation and divorce," Clarke said at the time.
