Georginio Wijnaldum signs a three-year deal with PSG
The Dutch forward has joined the Parisians for a three-year deal.
Georginio Wijnaldum has joined Paris Saint-Germain on a three-year deal. He has left Liverpool for PSG on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old midfielder was linked to Barcelona due to his connection with former national team boss Ronald Koeman.

However, the French club acted fast and went for him. The deal will keep him at PSG till June 2024. Reportedly, he will earn a mouth-watering salary of $12.15 million (€10 million) per season, which is more than twice what he used to earn at the English club.
Upon his announcement of joining PSG,
Wijnaldum said:
"Joining Paris Saint-Germain is a new challenge for me, I join one of the best teams in Europe, and I am determined to bring my desire and my determination to this ambitious project. Paris Saint-Germain has proved its status in recent years, and I am certain that together, for our supporters, we can go even further and higher."
The Dutch International stayed five seasons at Liverpool, where he won Premier League and the Champion League. He played a crucial role in the Reds' journey to Champions League glory.

In his five years at the club, he had joined the Reds in 2016 and made 179 appearances scoring 16.
Georginio Wijnaldum won the prestigious Champions League during his time in Anfield.

The former PSV played his last game in the red jersey against Crystal Palace at Anfield last month. His teammates gave him a guard of honor in his final appearance.
