Exercise will pump up your heart rate, which in turn, pumps more blood to your organs and skin. It also keeps your pores clear. Using harsh cleaning products, especially those containing alcohol or astringents, during winter can strip off the protective moisture from your skin leaving it dry and dehydrated. Use soaps for sensitive skin advertised as moisturized instead of scented and alcohol-based soaps.

For winter, use shampoos labeled "moisturizing" or "for reviving dry hair" and condition your hair after using shampoo. For facial cleansers look for oil-based or "moisturizing" face rubs and mild, foaming cleansers. Avoid alcohol or salicylic acid-based cleansers.

Fall in love with your skin this winter with the right amount of care and nourishment. The weather outside can be unsightly but your skin definitely won't be hideous this year.
