Looking back on her hard yet fruitful career, Jennifer adds, "I want to thank true love, and I want to thank the way that I lied to myself because that's how I knew that I had to grow. I want to thank disappointment and failure for teaching me to be strong. I really don't think I could have done it without you." Lopez concludes her speech with a shoutout to her fiance Ben Affleck. "Ben and everybody at home, wait for me to have dinner. I will be home by 7," she says.

Jennifer's big win comes almost a month after the singer announced her second engagement with Affleck. Taking to the exclusive fans newsletter On the JLO, the On the Floor crooner made her engagement public. "So I have a really exciting and special story to share," Lopez says while giving fans a glimpse of her huge green diamond ring.
Lopez and Affleck's romance goes back to the early 2000s when the duo met on the sets of their film Gigli and fell in love shortly. The two worked on a couple more projects as one of the most high-profile couples at the time. The twosome announced their engagement in November 2002 but called it off in January 2004. The estranged pair later cited "extensive media attention" as one of the reasons for their split.
