JJ Watt is Expecting his 1st Child with Wife Kealia Ohai Watt

Congratulations are in order for the Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman JJ Watt, 33, and his wife of two years, soccer player Kealia Ohai, 30, as the pair announced they are expecting their first child. The couple has kept the happy news to themselves for a while; it seems; Ohai can be seen displaying her round baby bump in the pictures posted by the NFL player. 

"Could not be more excited," Watt captions while posting a picture of himself and Kealia caressing her bump. Ohai posted a similar picture on her Twitter handle, and in the caption, the soccer player hinted at October due date. Watt writes, "Oct 2022," followed by a heart emoji. Many fans and fellow stars have since flocked to the couple's comment section to congratulate the duo on their new milestone.

The official Cardinals page writes, "Milli Watt coming October 2022," could that be another hint on the upcoming baby's gender? Too soon to tell yet. Carlos Walkins comments, "It's about time, congratulation, brother."Mario Lopez, Tyfus Howard, and Bradley Roby are some more names who relayed their best wishes to the couple.

The couple had walked down the aisle on February 15, 2020, in the Bahamas. Watt, a native of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, previously played for Houston Texans from 2011 to 2020. He started dating Kealia in 2016, and the pair announced their engagement in 2019. Kealia plays for the Chicago Red Stars of NWSL and previously had a long stint in Houston Dash. The soon-to-be-parents commemorated their second anniversary earlier this year.

"I don't know where or how this tradition started, but every time we get dressed up for an event or go somewhere together, we take a photo in the elevator," JJ writes in his tribute to Ohai. The star player adds, "Through 2 years of marriage, many memories have already been created, with so many more on the horizon. Happy Anniversary @kealiamae I love you."

The 30-year-old soccer player remembered to mark the day with a short, sweet note and a picture. "2*15*20 The best day and the best two years married to you. Happy Anniversary, I love you so much @jjwatt," Ohai captioned the post. Other than his flourishing career in the NFL, Watt is famously known as the founder of the Justin J. Watt Foundation.

Watt is well known for his extensive contribution to philanthropy. In 2018, the defensive lineman and his foundation raised a record-breaking $41.6 million to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. "The actions of professional first responders and everyday citizens alike were an inspiration to the world and a shining example of the inherent good that lies within us all," Watt then said in his press release.
