Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith welcome their first child together.

Joshua Jackson and his wife, Jodie Turner-Smith, have welcomed a brand new bundle of joy. As per People, the couple recently welcomed a daughter, their first child together.

The pair's reps told the Magazine, "Both mother and baby are happy and healthy."

Tuner-Smith revealed she's set to give birth to a daughter on the occasion of International Women's Day. Back in March, the actress shared the gender of her baby through footages of her little one 'dancing' in her belly taking to her Instagram Stories.

The 33-year-old captioned one of the videos, "Favourite moments with baby. Can you see her dancing in there? Every time I try to record, she stops."

Back in December 2019, the news of their secret wedding coincided with them expecting a child. The actress spoke to The Sunday Times a month later, where she confirmed their marital status.

I haven't said to anybody, 'Yeah, we got married. People are assuming whatever they want, but when people tell me 'Congratulations,' I say, 'Thank you.'

As for their pregnancy, Joshua revealed the couple found out together, and they had kind of an inkling. "Cycles change. This was literally the most joyous moment of my life," said the actor. Jodie was working out of town, and Joshua asked her to delay the test so that they could do it together.

Back in February, the couple attended the 2020 BAFTA Awards in London, where the 'Queen & Slim' star proudly displayed her baby bump in a stunning yellow gown. Later, she took to Instagram, where she expressed her excitement at welcoming their first baby.

Tuner-Smith wrote on the picture-sharing platform at the time, "I've never felt more beautiful, I will never ever forget this moment, and I look forward to showing this to my baby angel years from now."
