Mkhitaryan joined Roma from Arsenal on a season-long loan at the start of the 2019-20 season. He had joined Arsenal from Manchester United in a swap deal with Alexis Sanchez, who moved to the Red Devils.
After unable to make a spark for the Gunners, he was loaned to the Giallorossi. Since joining Roma, the 32-year-old seems to have found his form as he did reasonably well in his first season, scoring nine goals while provided five assists in twenty-two league matches. This season has been even better for the Armenian as he's already scored nine goals and has the highest assists with eight in twenty league games.
