Kailyn Lowry Believes Teen Mom 2 Is Bad For Their Kids!

Kailyn Lowry is not comfortable with bringing her kids to the Teen Mom 2 reunion.

The Moms in Teen Mom do not exactly get along, though the show looks like a pretty easy job, getting paid six-figure sums to sit around and talk all day. But it is not as cushy as it appears on the screen, there are more drama and confrontation and never-ending feuds on the show which is not exactly an ideal situation to bring kids in.

Every Mom on MTV Teen Mom show complained at one point or other about the show, and one of the most vocal complainers was Farrah Abraham who was fired for her treatment of the crew and her parents. Jenelle Evans was also a complainer, but she was also axed from the show after her husband killed the family dog in the presence of their kid.

With both of the ladies gone, it seems, Kailyn Lowry, who recently celebrate her youngest son's second birthday, is the one who is picking up the mantle of the person who is speaking her mind in the show. In an interview with Hollywood Life, Kailyn made the observation it was not a pleasant situation for the kids to be on the set. The ladies got on the show because of their kids, and it seems Kailyn is not down with bringing her kids to the show.

When asked about the recent taping of the reunion series Kailyn said, “I started refusing to bring the kids because of all the drama, and I think the other cast members felt the same way or they had the same reservations around the same time.”

Bringing kids to the volatile environment of the set life in Teen Moms is not something ideal, and it seems everyone is following Kailyn’s lead and not bringing their kids in the show.

“And it was just a huge, as far as the reunion segments go, they were long days,” Kailyn continued. “We were all in the studio with the kids for like 12 hours. So it just didn’t make sense to have us all there and do it that way. So I started saying, ‘Well, I’m not bringing my kids.’”

Since, with the firing of Jenelle Evans, she took most of the volatility and drama of the show with her, which means there is still a workable environment on the set. Kailyn said she would be more inclined now to bring her kids to the set, but still, she is not sure.

Kailyn said, “Well, now that we’ve done it a little bit differently I would like to film a reunion segment with my kids, so I don’t know, we’ll see about this year.”

The fans are not really happy with the decision of not bringing the kids to the reunion. There used to be a time when during reunion episodes kids would come to the stage and interact with one another, but it will be one aspect missing from the show. To the kids not being able to come to the reunion and meet each other, she said, “The kids don’t see each other — they don’t remember each other.”

The Teen Mom reunion episode used to look like a family union and in spite of all their feuds, it still seemed like they were one big family but time seems to take its toll, and the show is changed.
